The Biodiversity
Welfare Society was established in 2006, at Bijni Harichad Charabash, Dr. B.R.
Ambetkar Hall. The founder Mr. B.C Sarkar , with the active Cofounder members of the organization who convey our Environmental
Welfare Social work activities & responsibilities till date, taking the aims at Biodiversity Safe Guard Establishmental
destination why the causes of climate changing
globally on the one hand; on the other
hand we need a primary mandate to conserve and to proper utilization of
biodiversity resources especially in the
North East Region of India. Over the course of our 20 years long journey, the
organization has been engaging the local biodiversity interested activists, mass
people, & the Science Teachers of educational with their Students collaboratively
having Government bodies for executing a
range of field- level initiatives directed at environmental preservation &
various problems solution. The NER is an important natural place, full of biodiversity
significances, needs to be preserved through community engagement for
scientific documentation by the Social Scientists highly importance for socio-economic
development man making and society making in the kingdom of human animals and
birds.
MISSION :- To promote, to
protect & preserve biodiversity resources through community engagement for
scientific documentation and collaborative conservation efforts across Assam
and the North East Region of India.
VISSION:- The future
where biodiversity is recognized as an essential pillar of sustainable
development as well as actively conservational of thoughts through multi-
stakeholder action.
